Perfect Start-Up Pitch with Marc Bass
December 26, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
This is an unusual event in style of the popular American TV show – Shark Tank. The core of the original show: budding entrepreneurs present their start-up ideas in front of seasoned business “sharks”.
When you have only few minutes for a pitch to provoke an interest, it’s all about how you “sell” yourself, how you present and speak.
The main idea of this event is to make your pitch seductive for potential partners or investors. Marc will train you to adjust the pitch that way. He has heard tons of them, and he knows the most common mistakes and success factors. Now he is ready to share this knowledge with young Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
Marc is experienced in a wide variety of industries from entertainment and retail to finance and IT. That’s why your idea can be evaluated in a comprehensive way.
– Marc’s short introduction
– Pitches from 5 presenters 5 minutes long each*. After each pitch, Marc gives his comments to presenter and his idea. He is going to evaluate the general impression from a presentation, if it is interesting or not. If it is not good enough, Marc will point out mistakes a presenter has made. Regarding each concept itself, Marc will tell his feelings if it seems real or not, is it believable for potential investors. If your idea is fine (or even great) and you present it in a nice way, Marc will help you to determine next steps; to create a simple roadmap for your success; determine your role in the path and what kind of help would you need on the way.
*presentation can be made in verbal or using slides
– Q&A session. Everyone has a chance to ask Marc any question he wants.
In the end of the event, we will conduct a draw for a gift certificate for 2-hours consultation from Marc!
IMPORTANT NOTE: we would like to underline that Marc is not an investor and he doesn’t provide any help in getting funding for your start-up but may be able to give you a few hint’s on how to get funding.
